Most Unusual Diamond Ring in Southeastern Minnesota! (VIDEO)

I saw this ring at Alan Reed's retirement party last night...and I'm certain that if you haven't seen THIS ring, you've never seen one like it.

Jeff Kunz was wearing the ring and he handed it over. You can actually FEEL the diamond with your fingertip, and there's nothing covering that open space. It's shiny and fun and why does it stay in there?

Jeff and also talked about my favorite gemstone. Jim, at Holstrom's in Crescooooooooooooooooooooooooo, has heard me go gaga over that amazing purple stone, and it turns out Jeff loves it, too. What I didn't know is that it doesn't come out of the ground purple. It takes heat to make it happen.

And the way that was figured out (not that long ago...in the 1950's, I think he said, is that a massive fire covered an area where the stone was, and they all turned purple. Can you imagine waking up one day to all that purple? Too cool.
