What's in your queue?

Because I'm kind of a geek, I've been following the updates on the Marvel superhero shows on Netflix. Daredevil had the biggest debut. That was followed by Jessica Jones. Luke Cage is set to debut soon, followed by Iron Fist and The Punisher. All of these characters will then team-up for The Defenders.

These are not the only new, original programs on Netflix, though. You probably know this already, that there are comedies and dramas. A little bit of everything. Netflix is becoming something like a network for original content.

Vulture.com ranked all of the original programs on Netflix. Not included were revivals, like season four of Arrested Development, Fuller House or Degrassi: The Next Class.

Daredevil ranked 20th. House of Cards was at 18. Musical, The Get Down, was 5th; the comedy, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, 3rd; the animated BoJack Horseman 2nd. Orange is the New Black topped the list of the 36 original programs.

The new show that came in fourth is Stranger Things. The show's first season debuted in July. It's set in a small Indiana town in 1983. I started watching the first episode. It kinda reminds me of Goonies, but it's not a comedy. I was kind of surprised to see Winona Ryder and Matthew Modine in it. Over the last few weeks, I've been hearing some good recommendations for it.

What show came in dead last? Rob Schneider's got a new sitcom on Netflix called Real Rob. Vulture's review isn't very positive. Which probably means Schneider will definitely be available for a cameo or to co-star in Adam Sandler's next project!
