I posted a video showing a mini-pig eating popcorn...and it led me down a YouTube rabbit hole of pigs, pigs, and more pigs...and then I learned the truth about mini-pigs. Strap in kids, this may shock you...

A mini-pig is a pig. Pigs are huge. So, a mini-pig isn't going to be cute and teeny-weeny its whole life. It'll be smaller than a full sizer, but don't expect a bunch of 'pig in teacups' pictures a few years down the road from mini pig ownership.

On the other hand, they are, apparently, good pets. I'd love to have dogs, but  can't, for a bunch of different reasons that all don't really matter except, "I'm allergic...really allergic." So maybe a pig'd be a good pet. They're clean, they're noisy, they can be trained to do they business outside, and, as the previous post about pigs showed, they love popcorn, so I could share on movie night.

But should you get a pig for a pet? It's almost Christmas, and people love giving pets on Christmas, so, maybe this'll help you decide.

If you prefer your advice from a guy with lots of sideburn action...
