RoadSnacks crunched the numbers and made their list of the "Snobbiest Places In Iowa". Illinois's snobbiest places were around Chicago (go figure) so where were Iowa's?
To come up with these stats, RoadSnacks looked at:
- Percent of the population with higher education
- Median income
- Median home price
- Cost of living

In the Des Moines Area, Johnston came in 3rd for the snobbiest cities in Iowa. Here are their stats:
- Population: 23,418
- % Highly Educated: 55.0%
- Median Income: $93,363
- Median Home Price: $289,600
#2. Waukee
Waukee, which is also part of the Des Moines-West Des Moines area, became the home of a huge $1.38 billion data center campus for Apple in 2017.
- Population: 23,441
- % Highly Educated: 57.0%
- Median Income: $101,138
- Median Home Price: $264,400

Earning the number one spot on the list is Clive. Notice how all of these top 3 are in the Des Moines-West Des Moines area?

Yep, Bettendorf! To the surprise of literally no one, Bettendorf ranked as the snobbiest place in the Iowa side of the QC. It came in #8 on the list of snobbiest places in Iowa so it can get much worse.
