This Is What Rochester Has Felt Like the Last 24 Hours!
Yesterday afternoon it was still pretty nice here in southeast Minnesota. We were slowly winding down from some of the warmest February weather on record and, in fact, we missed all-time highs on a few days by only a couple degrees. And then, well, look outside and that tells you all you need to know!
We'd been bracing for it all week, with various weather sites and models warning us that we could get big snow. And yet, we weren't so sure. On one weather app, the forecast for last night and into today was simply a big question mark. Would be get an inch of rain? Or would be get 20 inches of snow?
Last night we found out. It wasn't quite 20 inches, but it was enough. Which reminded me of this video from last year that captures exactly the way our weather can be like pretty much any time of the year. Or at least between October and May! Enjoy!
I imagine that nobody saw this when they were out battling the huge piles of snow this morning, though...
Or, perhaps you are found yourself working through the 'Five Stages of Minnesota Blizzard Driving' this morning...
