Looks like winter is finally going to show up for all of us in Minnesota.  If you've got kids, my guess is that they are wishing for a snow day.  Based on the latest weather report from the National Weather Service, it appears that parts of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois will be in a Winter Storm Watch starting late Thursday, January 11th with the anticipation of heavy snow.

I can't predict snow days but I can tell you that snow is on the way and some areas could see up to 10 inches.  For an adult, that means that our backs are going to be hurting just a tad and more Tylenol is needed.  For a kid, that means it is time to go sledding!

What do you like to do for fun during Minnesota winters?

One of my favorite memories was getting all bundled up with my kids and heading out to Ironwood Springs.  They have an amazing tubing hill!  Our entire family loved spending an afternoon flying down the hills.  The warming shelter there might be my favorite spot though.  #ILikeToStayWarm
