Yesterday, news broke that there was a shooting at the University of California, Los Angeles, and the incident was later determined to have been a murder-suicide.

Today, the shooter's name was released as Mainak Sarkar, a 38-year-old former student at UCLA and a resident of Minnesota. Authorities searched Sarkar's residence and found a kill list.

The victim of the UCLA event was William Klug, a engineering professor who taught Sarkar. Sarkar accused Klug of taking his ideas and on social media would call him sick.

Klug's name was on the kill list, along with an unnamed professor who taught Sarkar, who is safe and unharmed. Also on the list was a woman's name. She was found dead at her Minneapolis residence.
