Edina, Minnesota teacher, Michelle Young, is going to star in the next season of 'The Bachelorette'. And since she's from Minnesota, filming is going to take place right here in her home state. Filming is set to start next month.

You could say I'm a fan of the Bachelor franchise. Yes, there are plenty of times that I think "Man this is so, so scripted" and yet here I am, still invested! So I'm a fan, especially with Michelle being the next bachelorette.

Michelle first made her appearance in the Bachelor franchise on the most recent season of 'The Bachelor' with Matt James. She ended up in his final 2 but she was sent home in the end. As soon as that happened everyone was calling for her to be the next bachelorette.

Bachelor franchise guru Reality Steve confirmed on Twitter the other day the filming for Michelle's season of the 'The Bachelorette' will begin filming "sometime in August ... at the Semple Mansion" in Minneapolis which looks stunning.

If you're interested in catching Michelle's season of 'The Bachelorette' her season premiere is Tuesday, October 19th at 7 PM central time.

Currently, there's another season of 'The Bachelorette' airing, Katie Thurston's season. When Michelle's season is set to air is usually a new season of 'The Bachelor' airs, so why the change-up? I'm not 100% sure why they chose to have two bachelorettes this time around, all I can guess is it's because both Katie and Michelle were so well-loved on Matt's season that they couldn't just pick one of them.

However, some people took issue with the fact that Katie's season was done first and Michelle's season was second. The reason for this, though, is because Michelle is a teacher and she already spent so much time away from her students filming for 'The Bachelor' that she didn't want to take more time off in the same school year to film again.

So if you're in the Minneapolis area, be on the lookout for hints of 'The Bachelorette being filmed!
