Your First Time!

This past weekend, we were so happy to give our daughter the birthday gift of tickets to her first concert. We've drug her to other shows, but HER first concert will be Panic! At The Disco. Sure, it'll be fun, but it's no Rick Springfield, which was MY first concert on September 3, 1982. (Yes, there is a website that lists EVERY concert he did in the 80's.)  The show was outdoors at the fairgrounds on a warm, late summer night.  I clung to the chain link fence that separated the grandstand from the dirt rodeo/race track

and screamed my fool head off the entire time.

It was awesome!

I hope the Panic! show is everything that she wants it to be because those 'first concert' memories are the best.
