A Kindergartner signs ‘Santa Was His Name-O’ And More…[VIDEO]

How adorable is this?  This was filmed at a kindergarten Christmas concert, and the girl doing the sign language is the child of a deaf adult.   She chose to sign so that her hearing-impaired mother could understand the lyrics of the songs. The girl is 5 years old, her name is Claire, and her mom's name is Lori Koch.

She even tweeted this, saying that her daughter did better than the 'fake' Nelson Mandela memorial sign language interpreter:

It's always fun to watch kids during their school concerts.   I can remember so many cute moments when my daughter was little and would do things in school.  I've never seen a child do sign language during a performance like this, but isn't it awesome that she wanted her mom to 'hear' her songs?   Do you have any special memories of your children's Christmas performances?
