Deadly Wreck Near Lake City
Lake City, MN (KROC AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a deadly traffic wreck that happened Saturday evening near Lake City.
The Patrol says the apparent head-on wreck occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Highway 61.
The Patrol says one of the vehicles was driven by 62-year-old Susan Drazkowski of Fountain City, Wisconsin. She died at the scene.Two children in her vehicle were treated for non-life threatening injuries. They were identified as 11-year-old Taylor Jones and 8-year-old Savannah Jones. The Patrol says they are relatives of Drazkowski. Their hometown is not listed in the report.
The Patrol report indicates a male was driving the other vehicle and he suffered serious injuries. He has been identified as Takahiro Suzuki. His age and hometown were not listed in the report.
