The Minnesota Transportation Department today announced the remaining traffic signal on Highway 52 in Cannon Falls will be taken out Monday, weather permitting.

The Highway 52 light on the southern side of the city was removed last month as part of a major construction project that began last summer.

The remaining light is the only one on Highway 52 between Rochester and the Twin Cities.

The construction project - which is eliminating the two intersections with lights and four others - is scheduled to be completed by October.
