Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office has been recognized for its extra effort to support and ensure the use of seat belts, through education and enforcement.

 The regional office of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Tuesday presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Sheriff Kevin Torgerson and the department for their work in the “Click it or Ticket” enforcement campaign that was conducted May 23rd - June 5th this year.

The office is one of just five law enforcement agencies in the region to receive the recognition.
