Rochester Man Caught After Short High Speed Chase
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - What started out as an attempted minor traffic stop in Rochester Tuesday led to a high-speed chase in a residential neighborhood.
A Minnesota state trooper spotted a car with illegal window tint at the intersection of 11th Ave and E. Center St around 2:00 PM. The trooper tried to stop the vehicle but the driver took off at a high rate of speed.
The driver ended up crashing into a snowbank about a mile away and took off on foot. He was captured several minutes later by a Rochester police officer.
The man was identified as 23-year-old Devante Jones of Rochester
