It's a fact that hotels and places like Airbnb's can be a breeding ground for nasty germs.  I'll share below what I do every time I stay at a hotel.  But before I get to that tip, here are the top 10 spots in a hotel that have been labeled as the dirtiest by Reader's Digest.

I don't think I have OCD, however, it might appear that way when I walk into a hotel room for the first time.  1.2% of people do suffer from OCD and I have had family members who have battled this and overcome it, so I do know what the symptoms appear as.  I don't wash my hands over and over but my family knows not to touch anything until I spray my magic potion.

My "magic potion" isn't anything special.  It is a can of Lysol.  I always bring it with me and everything gets sprayed down in our room.  All of those spots above are included.  I also spray the handle for the toilet, the light switches, and the door handles.
