The CP Holiday Train is going to arrive in Rochester Friday, December 6th, at approximately 2:15 p.m.

This is the 15th year that the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train has been operating.  The train's goal is to help area communities by donations to area food shelves, and provide holiday entertainment as it passes through each area community. Children can even hop on board the train to meet Santa & The Misses.   The 'train of lights' began November 25th in Canada and will wrap up its travel itinerary on December 19th   in Weyburn, SK.  Musicians travel on board this train and they play more than 150 free concerts from the boxcars.    People who attend the performances during their stops bring non-perishable food or cash donations to stay at the food shelves in the communities where the train has collected them.

One of the stops in Minnesota includes a special performance from Sheryl Crow.   December 14th in Cottage Grove, Sheryl is going to play her guitar and sing from one of the rail cars along with the group Take 6.  Sheryl's only appearance on this Holiday Train will be for that date. Sheryl's CP Concert will take place at the Cottage Grove Rail Yard at 9250 Ideal Avenue.
