When I walked in to work the other day, my boss showed me the photo above of Walgreens in Rochester, Minnesota.  He was looking for some medicine and this is what he found when he walked into the store on South Broadway.

Unfortunately, many kids and adults are feeling cold, flu, RSV, and COVID symptoms.  I personally know a handful of kids with RSV, and several adults that are quarantining this Christmas due to COVID, and they all are on the search for medicine and cough drops.

Pharmacists are Overworked in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin and Need Some Extra Kindness

I am hearing through the internet grapevine that those who are working in the pharmacies are being worked a bit too hard right now.  If you are standing in line, waiting for a refill or need to pick up a new prescription, please show a little extra kindness to those who are helping you.  I need them.  You need them.  Your neighbors need them.  And they need us to be a little extra patient right now.

Sick Kid Survival Guide for All Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin Moms

As my kid was hurling chunks of our pasta dinner into the sink (fyi...pasta that apparently he did not chew at all...because I could see it all sitting there in clumps) I instantly put my hair in a mom bun and rushed to action. I have no idea how I knew what to do in that moment of barfing, because if I'm honest, I wanted to barf myself, but I kept it in and rushed to get all the tools I had in the house for just this moment. My "Sick Kid Survival Guide" is a gamechanger and if you don't have these items at your house, maybe stock up now so you are prepared for cold, flu, and this COVID season.
