Byron, MN (KROC AM News) - Yet another incident involving an Olmsted County deputy and a teenager.

The latest happened early Wednesday in Byron.

A Byron resident reported a stolen vehicle around 4:30 AM. The deputy took the information and left. Less than a minute later, the deputy was contacted by the owner who saw the car drive by his house. The deputy located the vehicle and after making a traffic stop, the driver tried to run away but was caught.

The deputy arrested the 15-year-old, who was identified as a member of a group of teenagers involved in a number of incidents during the past three weeks.

In the most previous incident, a deputy suffered a serious shoulder injury Monday in Byron while scuffling with a teenager who had been involved in another stolen vehicle incident.
