MINNESOTA: What You Need to Know About ‘Code Yellow’ at Target
Anyone else have that feeling that they need to make a Target run right now? I have zero idea how they do it but that bullseye calls our name and somehow we end up buying $250 worth of stuff. I call it the bullseye curse.
Next time you walk into a Minnesota-based Target store, listen carefully to what is being said because there is one code that requires immediate help by everyone who is currently in the building.

MINNESOTA: What You Need to Know About 'Code Yellow' at Target
When you are walking through the Magnolia section, drooling over the latest design and product by Joanna Gaines, occasionally you hear a voice overhead or on one of the walkies that the team members are carrying. For a moment, it pulls me out of that bullseye trance and interrupts my shopping. I don't want you to start eavesdropping on the team members but sometimes those voices are codes that require immediate attention.
Recently, the color codes for Walmart were shared with the public and "Code Brown" got a lot of attention. I revealed the full list of codes for Walmart and today, I've got the color code list for Target.

Color Codes for Target Stores Throughout the United States
According to a Reddit thread for Target team members, the following are the codes and what they mean at Target stores.
- Code Red - this is a situation where you are going to want to leave your cart and find the nearest exit because there is a fire.
- Code Green - someone in the store is having a medical crisis and needs help.
- Code Yellow - wherever you are in the store, your help is needed immediately when this code is said. Drop everything and listen for the type of clothes that are being said over the pa system and start looking for the child or vulnerable adult that is missing.
