New Expansion For This Award-Winning Bakery in Minnesota (PHOTOS)

If you recently stopped at Kwik Trip for a Dunker, you are part of that statistic.  And if a donut is what you crave for that sweet tooth of yours, there is one spot in Minnesota that you must visit!  Not only is this place an award-winning bakery for multiple years in a row, but they also just expanded...and the new addition is fabulous.

Last weekend, our family went on a road trip!  We took some of those scenic roads in Minnesota and ended up in a small, scenic town called Red Wing, Minnesota.  Selfishly, I wanted a really good donut and I knew the perfect place - Hanisch Bakery and Coffee Shop.

I've been following Hanich Bakery on social media for a bit and knew that a massive expansion was happening at their location.  When I saw that first post on Facebook about it, I knew that I had to show up once it was finished.  I mean...someone has to eat the donuts.  ;)

Ok, word must have gotten out that Hanisch Bakery and Coffee Shop has been voted the Best Bakery and Best Donuts for 4 years in a Row by the Star Tribune, because there was quite the crowd when we stopped...but I still got a few photos for you to enjoy.

I was planning on taking photos of the donuts that my family picked too, but...we ate them before I had a chance.  Oops.
