Family Service Rochester earlier announced a video-counseling service (click HERE to see how to use that),  and now they're offering a Covid-19 shopping service.

According to FSR, Olmsted County residents  can get help, "If you are homebound because of illness, physically isolating, or quarantine and need assistance with shopping for groceries."

They'll match you with a volunteer to shop for you for $10 a shopping trip (plus the cost of the groceries). Shopping will be completed within 24-48 hours. There's a form to fill out and such, do that HERE.

All volunteers have background checks and COVID-19 screening for health and safety.

A quick reminder about staying home - It's super common for people without any known mental health issues to experience trouble at times like these. Family Service Rochester, and many other organizations in our community, offer support when you need it.

Reaching out to get the tools to deal with the issues in front of you is a major sign of strength and (as a bonus) are tools you'll be able to use the rest of your life.
