
Fire Destroys Rural Olmsted County Wood Kiln
Viola, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester business took a hit early Friday when a fire wiped out a major piece of equipment in rural Olmsted County.
The fire was reported at 5:30 AM in the 6300 block of County Road 102 NE near Viola.
It destroyed a firewood kiln owned by ProCut Firewood. The cause of the fire is unknown but it is not considered suspicious.
The loss was estimated at $100,000.
