Guilty Plea For Financial Exploitation
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Over a month after his wife was sentenced in the case, a 56-year-old Rochester man has entered into a plea agreement in a financial exploitation case.
Michael Krahn has pleaded guilty to one count of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult through a deal with prosecutors that led to the dismissal of three other counts. 51-year-old Jennifer Krahn earlier pleaded guilty to the same charge and was sentenced to five years on probation.
The couple was charged last summer with taking about $30,000 from the accounts of a person suffering from Alzheimer’s disease living in a local senior care facility.
Michael Krahn, who was scheduled to stand trial this week, is scheduled to be sentenced on September 12th.
