The popular children's video game is being brought back to life for a second time in the past three years.

I can't tell you how many times I played "The Oregon Trail" (and died of Dysentery) on the old Apple II back in the 80's, both at school and on my grandparents farm. It was my go-to game every time we turned on that classic green-screened computer.

Well after recently reviving the iconic game as a card game, Target is now exclusively selling a miniature handheld version of it! It's got the same graphics and sounds as the original game, and the best part is the device even resembles an old school Apple II computer. It's so cool, and for only $25 too.

Hard to believe three Minnesota teachers created this way back in 1971, and now it's a cult classic and now part of the Video Game Hall of Fame. Needless to say, Target has a retro gaming gold mine on their hands here, and if you're as nostalgic as me, you'll be itching to get your hands one one of these soon.
