Gas Station Chain In Minnesota Offering Significant One-Day Fuel Discount This Week
It's hard to ignore that fuel isn't cheap right now. With prices averaging $4.30 per gallon in Minnesota as I write this, finding ways to shave some money off that price at the pump can be nice.
Enter the convenience store chain Circle K, which offers a few different days throughout the year when they offer a discount on fuel. One of those discount days is coming up this week, but it is a little different than the last one the company offered this spring.
The same as this spring's Circle K discount day, the discount will be 40 cents off per gallon at participating stores in a handful of states, including Minnesota Circle K stores. By the way, this week's fuel discount includes all fuel grades, even diesel.
There are two key differences from this spring's Circle K Fuel Day. One of them is that the 40-cent-per-gallon discount is available all day, and not just for a pre-set part of the day.

The other difference is that the discount isn't just taken off at the pump for everyone who pulls up this time around. For this week's fuel discount day, which the company is calling an "Inner Circle Fuel Day," you need to be part of the chain's free Inner Circle rewards club to get the discount.
Most gas station chains have some kind of free rewards program, offering loyalty perks. Circle K's Inner Circle offers smaller discounts with every fill-up every day (3 cents per gallon, or 5 cents per gallon after spending $500 at their stores), this 40-cent discount is way larger than that every-day perk.
This week's Inner Circle Fuel Day is Thursday, October 8. Again, the discount is available all day long for Inner Circle members at participating Minnesota Circle K locations.
While there are also Circle K stores in Wisconsin, rules and regulations mean Wisconsin stores aren't on the company's list for this promotion.
