Here’s the Relationship Question Minnesotans Now Ask The Most

With spring upon us, it's the time of year when thoughts across the Land of 10,000 Lakes turn to love. And the one question we've all apparently asked about our romantic partner here in Minnesota.

When it comes to love in the North Star State, the state of Minnesota says that currently, 51.2 percent of state residents are married. With our most recent U.S. Census age 15 or older population of just over 4.6 million, that means roughly 2.3 million Minnesotans have tied the knot.

Adding in the national rate of couples who live together but aren't married, and you get another roughly 388,00 Minnesotans aged 18 to 44 who are in a relationship. Add both those figures together, and doing some quick math, it appears that just under 2.8 million Minnesotans are either married or in a relationship.

Which means that a lot of Minnesotans who have hit up Google to try answer this one burning question about their relationship. The crew over at CenturyLinkQuote took a look at the data to find each state’s burning love questions and then used Google search volume to determine which question was asked the most.

So, what is our Most Googled Relationship Question here in the Bold North?

According to CenturyLinkQuote, it's "Does he like me?" It was also the Most-Google question in four other states, including North Dakota, Maryland, Mississippi, and Georgia.

The survey doesn't say, but I'm guessing the same question but asked from a male point of view ("Does she like me?") must also be fairly popular here in Minnesota, as well. (That question was the Most Googled in New Mexico and West Virginia.)

Those questions, while certainly pertinent to ANY relationship, aren't the most Googled overall, though. The most-Googled question in 20 states has to do with dating apps-- and which ones are the best.

However, there were several other good relationship questions that made the Most-Googled list this year, as well, including "How do you get over a broken heart?" which was the most Googled in my home state of Wisconsin, and "When to say 'I love you,'" which was most Googled down in Iowa.
