Popular Midwest Gas Station, Kwik Trip, Opens Two New Locations This January

One of the most popular stores in the Midwest is expanding once again.  A few weeks ago they dropped a brand new Dunker flavor.  Now, they are opening up two new locations for their fans to enjoy.

Yes, I'm talking about the #1 gas station in the United States - Kwik Trip.

Below is everything you need to know about the new Kwik Trip stores opening up this January.

Wisconsin-Based Kwik Trip Opening Two New Stores in January

Growing up, stopping at a gas station to use a rest room was one of the most terrifying experiences for a kid.  First, you had to ask for the key - which was usually attached to an extremely large object so it never got lost.  Then, you had to trek back outside...because God forbid someone adding a restroom inside a building.  Probably the most disturbing part of this whole peeing adventure was about to come though...the first look at where you had to relieve yourself.  You just hoped that the worst thing you'd see is no toilet paper.

My kids have no idea what a rotary phone is, have never seen a car window that wasn't automatic, haven't heard the harsh sound of a dial-up modem, and thanks to Kwik Trip, have never had to pee in a bathroom where you had to ask for a key.

Clean bathrooms aren't the only perks of the famous Kwik Trip gas station. At this fast-multiplying store, customers have learned that buying bananas, milk, eggs, donuts, coffee, and other necessary supplies can all be found easily on their shelves and coolers.

If you missed the big news, Kwik Trip is sharing all of that clean bathroom love at two brand new stores opening in January 2026.  According to the Kwik Trip website, here are the locations for the new stores:

• Knoxville, Iowa - opening January 8th, 2026
• Tiffin, Iowa - opening January 15th, 2026

Since these are located in Iowa, everything will look like a Kwik Trip store other than the name.  In Iowa, you'll notice that a Kwik Trip is called Kwik Star.  When Kwik Trip opened up its first store in Iowa back in 1993, QuikTrip was a heavy-hitter in the gasoline world in Iowa.  According to milwaukeemag.com, to ensure that there wasn't any confusion between Kwik Trip and QuikTrip, it was decided to use Kwik Star instead.

According to the Kwik Trip website, there are 919 Kwik Trip, Kwik Star, Stop N Go, and Kwik Spirits locations.  Some of the towns where stores can be found include:
