If you do a lot of traveling, you might think that putting a lock on your luggage is sufficient to secure your stuff. Think again.

In this video, a well-seasoned traveler shows how easy it is for would-be thieves to get into a basic soft-sided suitcase, even with a lock (or multiple locks). While this can happen anywhere, it seems that the problem occurs even more often for overseas travelers. His solution to the problem may not look attractive, but it certainly appears to be effective.

Bottom line, if you're transporting something valuable you should take extra precaution to make sure it arrives home safely with you and doesn't end up in the hands of thieves.
