Major Change to this Year’s Rochesterfest Parade

Rochestefest Chair Brent Ackerman says the change will eliminate traffic back-ups in the downtown area.

If you haven't heard or forgot the Grand Parade will now be held on Saturday.

Ackerman said, “By moving the parade from Friday to Saturday, we hope to alleviate some of the rush hour congestion and parking challenges and allow more time and space for parade staging and preparation. We encourage people to come to Rochesterfest before and after the parade to enjoy food and activities at Soldiers Field Park.”

The parade starts at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Here's the route.

Rochesterfest runs through June 25th with several events happening around town. Most of the "main attractions" are held at Soldier's Field Park. 29 Food Vendors are calling the park home for the week and serving food each day starting at 11:00 a.m. You can see all of the available food options, here.
