Have you heard of Colgate Toothpaste’s frozen beef lasagna TV dinner? Failure. The spray-on condom? Failure. Olestra Pringles? Failure. A very messy failure.' Or how about "Little Miss No Name" - a doll you could name all by yourself (nightmares at no additional cost!).
These three failures, and so many more, will be on display at the Museum of Failure in the Mall of America. Kicking off another six-city US tour on November 5th, "the Museum of Failure shines a light on some of history’s epic fails by some of the world’s best-known companies."
According to the museum, "The experience is geared towards visitors of all ages, making it a great activity for the whole family (tho younger kids might be confused why you're getting so weepy over Crystal Pepsi).
The part of the museum that seems most intriguing, and by intriguing I mean I would walk right past it as fast as possible ardently avoiding eye contact, is the Failure Confessional "where visitors can add their own personal stories of failures to the collection."
Trust me, they do not have the time to catalog my personal collection.
