Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Board holds its first meeting of the year Tuesday and will formally welcome two new members who will be sworn in.

One is Gregg Wright, who defeated longtime County Commissioner Paul Wilson in the November election. The other is Mark Thein, who beat incumbent Lou Ohly. The swearing-in ceremony will take place at 9 a.m.

The board will also hold a public hearing on the body camera policy proposed by Olmsted County Sheriff Kevin Torgerson.

The Rochester School Board holds its first meeting of the year Tuesday evening. It will also welcome two new members. Don Barlow defeated incumbent Richard Hinds in the November election while Mark Schleusner won the seat that had been held by Dan O’Neil, who decided not to seek another term.
