Calgary, ALB -- Sean Monahan scored two power-play goals and Brian Elliott made 28 saves as Calgary bounced Minnesota 5-1.

Alex Chiasson, Deryk Engelland and Micheal Ferland also scored for the Flames, who won their second straight.

Jason Zucker replied for the Western Conference-leading Wild, who saw their franchise record road point streak end at 14 games.

Meanwhile the Timberwolves ran into Cleveland playing some pretty good basketball. They left with their tails between their legs.

LeBron James scored 27 points, Kyrie Irving had 14 and a career-high 14 assists and the Cleveland Cavaliers, coming off a losing record in January, defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 125-97 on Wednesday night.

The Wolves head to Detroit next.
