Popular Restaurant in Downtown Rochester Expected to Close Saturday

A rumor is circulating around town that a popular restaurant in downtown Rochester, Minnesota is closing.

I was scrolling through Facebook earlier tonight and saw the news that another restaurant is closing in downtown Rochester, Minnesota.  When I saw the name, I couldn't believe it.

Hefe Rojo in Downtown Rochester Expected to Close on Saturday

According to a story by KTTC, Hefe Rojo, which is located at 216 1st Ave. SW, is expected to close on Saturday, October 8th, 2022.  In their story, they also mentioned that it is possible the downtown Newt's location will close in the future.  If you haven't been to that Newt's, that place is awesome!  If they do both close, I know both of these locations will be missed by many in the community as well as those visiting our town.

I did send a note to Hefe Rojo to confirm the news and will update the story if I learn more.  If I hear anything, I'll update this story and also have the information on my Facebook page - Jessica On The Radio.

Top 5 Spots for Tacos in Rochester, Minnesota
