AGAIN?! Adorable Store in Minnesota Just Closed One Of Its Locations Suddenly
Another Business in Rochester, Minnesota Has Disappeared
It's been a rough few days of closing news in Southeast Minnesota. Unfortunately, we are adding another store to the list. This week alone, the following stores have started their goodbyes:

- 'Forced to Close' News Posted By Popular SE Minnesota Restaurant
- ...and now another. This time though, we didn't get an announcement. The store just disappeared overnight.
If you stop by Thursdays Downtown in Rochester, Minnesota this week, take a minute and visit some of the stores that are lined up on 1st Avenue. And while you go from one store to the next, you are probably going to notice two empty storefronts. Green-N-Fresh in the Peace Plaza closed for the winter season and never reopened. And now, next-door, another business has closed up shop suddenly.

Adorable Boutique, Primp, Has Closed Again in Rochester, Minnesota
I was downtown today for a few meetings and on my walk to my appointment, staring at me in a window was a "For Lease" sign at the very empty Primp store. Ok, it wasn't completely empty. There were a few clothing racks, mannequins, and hangers in various spots, but it is obvious that the store is not reopening. It's not even listed on the company website anymore.
Why Did You Say Primp Closed "Again"?
Prior to the memorable pandemic that we all got to experience, Primp was open in downtown Rochester at the same address on 1st Avenue. As many of us remember, the pandemic was not a happy time for businesses, especially in the downtown area, and our town was hit hard with store and restaurant closings. The same week we learned that The Loop in Rochester closed forever, we learned that Primp was having their final day of sales in Rochester on Friday, July 31st, 2020.
Primp opened back up in Rochester at 104 1st Avenue in the spring of 2022. On July 5th, Downtown Rochester featured Primp in a Reel but just a few days later, the shop is completely empty...again.
Looks Like Rochester Isn't The Only Primp Store That Has Closed Recently
I was trying to get some answers...ok, closure for me...regarding the Rochester store shutting abruptly and found out that another Primp store closed recently. According to a Facebook post on June 7th, a goodbye letter was posted for fans of the Woodbury, Minnesota store.
A note from Wesley-
After 10 incredible years, it’s time to say goodbye to our shop in Woodbury Lakes. I grew up in Woodbury and this location has always been so near and dear to my heart. I will forever be on the hunt for a new location that will serve our beautiful customers east of St. Paul!
This will be our last weekend open but we still have so many gorgeous new styles, champagne flowing, and our stylists eager to style you! It’s not goodbye forever, Woodbury, we will see you soon!
With all my love and gratitude,
xoxo-Wesley
Not sure why the Primp fans in Rochester didn't get a goodbye letter before everything disappeared...
