Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester police are investigating a hit-and-run that occurred late Friday morning in Northwest Rochester.

A spokesperson says 77-year-old Bruce Aldrich was riding a bike when he was struck by an older dark-colored pickup truck. The driver did not stop to check on the bicyclist's welfare and left the scene.

Aldrich was transported to St. Mary's hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred shortly after 11:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of the East Frontage Road along Highway 52 near the Hillcrest Shopping Center.
