Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Rochester police investigators were called out to a local group home Monday night to look into another suspected fatal heroin overdose.

A medical call was made from the home around 11:30 p.m. and officers arrived to find a 31 year old man dead. Evidence of heroin use was found in his room.

Police Captain John Sherwin says another person at the same home overdosed earlier in the day. Sherwin says the first call was made around 5 p.m. after the 57 year old man was found unconscious in his room.  He was taken to St. Mary’s. Sherwin says evidence of heroin use was also found in his room.
