
Popular Rochester Restaurant Burglarized, Police Investigating
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Along with responding to weather-related incidents Wednesday morning, the Rochester Police Department is also investigating an apparent burglary at a popular restaurant.

Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says officers responded to an alarm at the Rochester restaurant early Wednesday morning.
Responding officers found the building’s front door open and evidence of an attempted theft inside, the police report says.

Rochester, MN Police Investigating Burglary & Attempted Theft at Whistle Binkies on the Lake
Grayson says police responded to the alarm at Whistle Binkies On The Lake, which is at 247 Woodlake Drive Southeast, around 2 a.m.
Upon arrival police found the front door had been opened and tampered with. Inside of the restaurant, police found the ATM in the entryway had been broken, Grayson said.
No money was taken from the ATM, according to the police report. The early-morning break-in is under investigation.
No other information is available as of Wednesday morning.
