Rochester Woman Scares Off Intruder
Rochester MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman returned home Monday night to find a strange man in her apartment.
The 65 year old woman says she came home around 11:45 and after entering her apartment, spotted the man trying to hide in a bedroom closet. When she called 911, the man jumped out a window and fled.
Officers found the man a short while later and he was arrested.The man - 24 year old Lazzaria Buchanan of Rochester - was ticketed for trespassing. It’s believed he entered the apartment through the same window he jumped out of.
The woman told officers nothing was missing from her apartment, which is located in the 1700 block of 40th Street NW.
