
Severe Storms Force Rochesterfest Cancellation For Safety Concerns
Mother Nature has been throwing a wrench in quite a few activities and events recently. Unfortunately, a special weather announcement was just made for a popular event in Rochester, Minnesota.

Rochesterfest Makes Weather-Related Announcement for Wednesday, June 25th
On Wednesday, June 25th, the National Weather Service shared an update about severe weather in our area. Several counties in Southeast Minnesota were included in tornado and flood watches. Sadly, the indication of severe weather headed this way has caused one of the biggest events in Southeast Minnesota to make a weather-related announcement.
Around 4:30 pm, Rochesterfest, the annual celebration happening at Soldier's Field in Rochester, Minnesota, shared the following message:
⚠️ Weather Advisory Update ⚠️
Due to adverse weather conditions and upon the advice of the National Weather Service and our local Police Department, we are canceling all festivities for the remainder of today, Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
The safety of our community is our top priority. Please stay safe, and thank you for your understanding.

As of right now, everything is on as planned for Thursday, June 26th. If any additional weather related announcements are made, we will share those with you on our free app.
