One of the Best Indoor Playgrounds for Kids in Rochester Now Open

Do your kids have ants in their pants and beans in their jeans and you are looking for a place indoors where they can wiggle?  If you are needing a spot in Rochester, Minnesota where your kids can go run and play inside during the winter months, one of those indoor playgrounds is now open!

Pipsqueaks Indoor Play Zone is Now Open in Rochester, Minnesota!

When winter hits and it starts to get really cold outside, finding a fun place to go with your little ones so they can run around is challenging.  Luckily, we've got a really fun indoor playground right here in Rochester called Pipsqueaks!  If you haven't heard about it before, let me fill you in:

• This play area has safe play zones full of toys and activities for kids that are about Kindergarten age and younger.
• Convenient restrooms are also available that has a changing area.
• 4 children maximum per adult and kids must be accompanied by a parent or adult that is 16 years or older.
• All children must be kindergarten-age or younger
• Only soft-soled clean gym shoes are allowed in play areas - no boots, stockings or bare feet allowed
• Cost is $2 per child per day or $10 for a punch card, which has 6 punches.  Kids that are 0 - 6 months of age are free.
  
• Here are a few of the fun that you'll find at Pipsqueaks (according to their website):
• • Climb and Slide Zone with new play equipment and safety flooring.
  • Riding Zone featuring a pedal merry-go-round, a mini roller coaster and room for riding toys!
  • Imagination Zone features a playhouse, lego and train tables, and computers!
  • Toddler/Crawler Zone with toys scaled for our youngest friends, with seating for parents with infants.

Staff are also available from the Rochester Park & Recreation Department to make sure the area is clean for all families. '

Hours for Pipsqueaks in Rochester

Pipsqueaks opened on Monday, November 14th, 2022 and is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 am until 1 pm.  Pipsqueaks will be closed on Sundays, on all major holidays and also when inclement weather closes Rochester Public Schools.

Directions and Parking Info for Pipsqueaks in Rochester

You can find Pipsqueaks Indoor Play Zone at the United Way building at 903 West Center Street in Rochester.  Once you walk inside, look for the signage which will help point you in the right direction.

Parking is free and there is plenty available at the United Way parking lot.
