Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Are you ready for the latest chapter in the Star Wars saga?

My son, Justin, loves Star Wars. We saw The Force Awaken a couple times. He's a huge Darth Vader fan. I'm hoping it's just a phase.

I've tried to explain the Star Wars timeline to him. He just can't understand it.

Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi came out first. Then the prequels came out. He's watched them straight through, one through six. Which is fine, but I kinda still watch them four, five and six, and then, one, two and three. My head hurts less.

I think he'll finally be able to understand the original films better now.

Rogue One opens this weekend. It's a "mid-prequel". It takes place before Star Wars after Revenge of the Sith.

This movie might actually redeem the prequels. Jimmy Smits is back as Senator Organa. Darth Vader is back.

Here's a fun fact for you: this is the first Star Wars movie that won't have that opening screen crawl text. It'll open just like a regular movie.
