Sidewalk Closed On Broadway In Rochester Due To Awning Collapse

The weight of the snow is taking its toll on buildings throughout Southeast Minnesota.  The covered bridge in Zumbrota and several barns throughout the area saw damage as the result of the storm.  A sidewalk in Rochester is closed though as an awning in downtown Rochester saw destruction as well.

As you walk or drive on Broadway, you will see that the awning at the Masjed Abubakar Siddiq has started to fall.  You can see in the picture that a good section of the sidewalk has been sectioned off due to the damage.
