The Minnesota Department of Health issued a new report today highlighting the alarming increase in suicides across the state and throughout the country.
The latest National Report Card is out and it shows Minnesota students continue to outperform their counterparts in almost all other states, but their scores in reading and math were statistically unchanged from the last round of testing 2 years ago and the so-called achievement gap in Minnesota remains one of the worst in the country.
The Minnesota Health Department's annual report on so-called Adverse Events shows the two Mayo Clinic hospitals in Rochester reported a total of 39 incidents between October 2016 and last October.
