Many area students are having so many 'COLD' days these days, one has to wonder if they will ever have school!   Of course they will, but we have been experiencing cold that we have not experienced in many years.   Can you believe that?  THE COLDEST PERIOD in this latest outbreak? 30 - 50 below windchill ranges in the area!

At least we're not in the northeastern part of the state where temps were in the minus 30s this morning. Arctic air will stick around for awhile. Friday might see highs in the low 20s, but another round of frigid temps is expected by Sunday...

We are bracing for even colder wind chills, enough to prompt Rochester Public Schools to close Monday, even the governor closes all schools in MN Monday,  yet, here is RiRi.  Does that make you feel a little odd? Is jealousy an understatement...

There is a 'Windchill Advisory' Until 9 a.m. tomorrow morning.   Bundle up, and my best advice?  Stay indoors.  Thats MY plan!   The coldest windchill ever recorded was -192°F in Antarctica in 2005.    I certainly hope it won't get that cold here...
