
Breaking News: Stabbing Incident in Rochester on Wednesday
The Landing MN Responds to Incident at Day Center in Rochester, Minnesota
According to a press release from The Landing MN in Rochester, two guests were involved in an altercation on Wednesday, April 16th, where one individual sustained injuries consistent with a stabbing. Law enforcement and emergency services were contacted immediately and responded promptly. The individual hurt was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and the authorities detained the other individual.
“We are deeply saddened by the events that occurred today. Our priority is the safety and well-being of everyone who enters our day center. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement as they investigate this matter.”

The Landing MN continued on to say, "Out of respect for those involved and in line with our commitment to dignity and confidentiality, no further personal details will be released at this time."
The staff are currently doing a thorough review of safety protocols. Any guests or team members who have been affected by the event are also being provided support.

Due to the incident that happened on Wednesday, The Landing MN, located at 426 3rd Ave. SE in Rochester, will continue to be closed on Thursday, April 17th, 2025.
