The Least Expensive House for Sale in Rochester

A few weeks ago, we shared with you the most expensive house for sale in Rochester as found on realtor.com. This time around, we’ve decided to go in a little bit different direction. Okay, actually we’ve gone in the complete opposite direction!

For those of you not in the market for a $1.5 million house, we’ve got quite an alternative. Rochester’s least expensive home on the market right now is listed for just $42,900.

The one-bedroom, one-bath home has 960 square feet of living space and sits on a 6,534 square foot lot. That means the size of this home’s lot isn’t much larger than the size of the most expensive home’s living space (6,008 square feet).

The home is located in Southeast Rochester, in the Meadow Park neighborhood. It was built in 1930, and also includes a one-car garage and a storage shed.

It may not offer the amenities of Rochester’s most expensive home, and the pictures of it may not be as exciting, but at a cost 1/35^th the price of that house, it certainly offers a lot more people the chance to actually own it!
