11 Things About Spring That People in Minnesota Hate

Have you noticed that some Minnesotans are a bit cranky lately? And no, it is NOT just women who might be PMSing who are throwing daggers with their eyes right now.

We all have a few stressors at the moment - eggs are about one million dollars for a carton of 12. (I'm kidding...but honestly, the price is ridiculous!) April is tax month and that doesn't give a lot of us happy feelings.

Those items are rough but this temporary ugliness that has arrived is because of one thing - the season of spring.

Spring is one of my favorite times of the year except when this happens.

Meet Loki. He is a spoiled St. Bernard who weighs at least 150 pounds. Probably more. He's got a lot of squish on him.

This season of spring brings rain...and at times, a LOT of it! When the downspouts aren't properly secured on our house, a fun little mud swamp forms in our backyard.
