Thursdays Downtown in Rochester: What’s the Latest News For This Week?

When you think of live music and outdoor entertainment, Southeast Minnesota isn't always top of mind...but it should be!

Is Thursdays Downtown Happening This Week in Rochester, Minnesota?

One of the biggest downtown events in the summer in Rochester is the extremely popular event held on Thursdays.  Thursdays Downtown started this year on June 12th, and its final day of fun in Rochester is August 14th.

This year, 54 bands are showing up on the stages to entertain the crowds.  And if you are hungry, there are rows and rows of food vendors ready to serve you their favorites!

The past few days, quite a few people have been asking on social media and chatting with us on our app if Thursdays Downtown was happening this week.

Last week, Thursdays Downtown was cancelled on June 26th because of inclement weather, as was Rochesterfest.  And it was a good thing that it was!  We had tornado sirens going off at the Y-105FM studio that day, which is just a block from where Thursdays Downtown is located.

Unfortunately, due to the 4th of July holiday, there is NO Thursdays Downtown scheduled for July 3rd in Rochester.

The next Thursdays Downtown is July 10th!  Show up at 11:00 am when it starts and stay until it ends at 8:30 pm...or come and go...whatever works best for you!
