WARNING! Bear Just Spotted in Rochester, MN Neighborhood and it was Caught on Video

On Tuesday, May 16th, KTTC TV in Rochester, Minnesota posted a video of an animal walking down the street.  If you haven't had a chance to see it for yourself, I've got it below for you.  When I first saw it, I thought, "Oh, someone caught a big cat on a video".  And then, I realized...that animal was a bear.😲

"BEAR SIGHTING!  A viewer's security camera caught this bear wandering around in northwest Rochester last night, just south of Essex park." - KTTC TV

If you don't venture to NW Rochester very often, Essex Park is near the Watson soccer fields located at 1000 Essex Pkwy NW.  (Get directions here).

When I heard the news today that a bear was spotted in Rochester, I immediately texted my husband and told him.  The reason I'm a bit on edge today is because my house isn't too far from where the bear was spotted casually walking down the road.

That's not the only reason why I feel a bit uneasy about this bear.  Here's the biggest one - at my house, we have three bee hives full of honey, which are basically on the favorite food list for our new furry friend in town.

If you haven't seen the video of the bear strolling down the road in Rochester, enjoy the video below.

Yes, the video time stamp says February but according to the comments, it sounds like the date and time stamp wasn’t set.
