This was a tough week of vandalism for a few businesses in Rochester, Minnesota. Earlier today, it was announced that someone stole several tv's from Purple Goat. Now, a video has surfaced of a car driving and causing damage to another business down the street from Purple Goat.
Rochester, Minnesota Business Asking For Help Identifying Individuals That Vandalized Their Property
I have a feeling that there is a vehicle in our area that isn't running so well right now, or it has some major scratches under the car...because it ran over a wall!
EA Therapeutic Health just shared on its Facebook page a video from its security camera that shows a vehicle driving over its retaining wall. The video and a few photos are below.
EA needs your help to identify a new vandalism incident that happened...At first view, it truly looks like an accident. What a crazy ride that was. But sadly, it became vandalism when they drove off without any phone call or visit today to let us know about the accident.
If you know anything about the vehicles or people in the video, please contact us at EA at 507-361-1871. We appreciate any help to have the opportunity for this person insurance to cover the damages. - EA Therapeutic Health Facebook Page
I reached out to Melanie Brennan, the CEO and Founder of EA Therapeutic Health, earlier today and learned that this wall was just put in last year and cost the facility quite a bit of money. She had the following comment as well,
"Accidents happen and this appeared to be an accident. However, accidents become vandalism when you do not accept responsibility nor notify those damaged of your identity. We added cameras last year to our building because of the increase in vandalism and suspicious activity in our parking lot and the north Broadway area. We are glad to be able to see what happened, but unfortunate that the video is not clear enough to identify them."
If this was you, or you know any of the individuals in the video, please come forward. Give Melanie a call at EA Therapeutic Health at 507-361-1871.
